In 2015, the people of the city took the initiative to adapt to the new normal of development, calmly responded to various risks and challenges, coordinated the promotion of economic and social development, and basically completed the "Twelfth Five-Year" planning goals. The annual GDP reached 76.682 billion yuan, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year; total fiscal revenue was 12.408 billion yuan, general public budget revenue was 6.415 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7% and 7.5% year-on-year; the total retail sales of consumer goods in the whole society was 31.478 billion yuan, an increase of year-on-year 10.3%; limited fixed asset investment was 55.515 billion yuan, an increase of 14.3% year-on-year, and was awarded the 2015 Wenzhou County (City, District) Outstanding Unit and Advanced Unit for Major Economic Indicators. In order to set up a model and inspire advanced, after studying in Yueqing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, it was decided to commend the advanced unit with outstanding performance.
